Description
Sugar Dust Bakery & Café is a local bakery in downtown Port Hope. The owner of Sugar Dust Bakery & Café was hoping to transfer their business from the store selling to online due to the restriction of the pandemic.
It is the best practice of my field placement project and a fully functional eCommerce website. The project started by meeting with the client, discussing the demands for the business, portraying the design, and finally bring the site come to alive with coding.
The project showcases the designer has capabilities and skills to conceptualize client's needs and deliver the visually pleasant and well functional outcome that satisfied the clients. It is also a highlight of the designer's portfolio.

Developing Process:
Sugar Dust Bakery & Café site is built with a custom WooCommerce theme - Sugar dust bakery 2021 theme. During the coding process, the designer needs to show an excellent understanding of utilizing WordPress and PHP language to develop a custom theme to fit the client's unique branding. Also, in order to create a custom design look and function for the navigation portion, the designer also showcases great knowledge in CSS, HTML, JavaScript. The website is designed as a fully responsive and animated site too.
Interface colour scheme developing:
Following the design of the client's newly designed logo, the designer has to extant the concept of the logo and apply the colours, design elements, and typography thoroughly onto the whole site.
